A little about me: I am an animator and illustrator based out of Montreal. I helped make a film a few years ago, called "I Met the Walrus" which was nominated for an Oscar, won an Emmy, and was awarded the Youtube/Guggenheim prize. I have since worked on a few bits with the NFB, including a stint in the Hothouse program, but this is my first time working on a larger project with the National Film Board.
We will also have the amazing James Paterson of Presstube.com working as the interactive director on this project. He wont' be coding, but he will be the cyber mage who will help guide us towards the mystical interactive Valhalla.
When does this all begin?:Well, I would like it to start soon. In my ideal world, I would like to have these three prototypes done for late March/early April 2013.
It would be ideal if the programmer was based out of Montreal, but it is not completely necessary. We can always plan and scheme via Skype.
And, just so you know, there is a budget for this gig.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYnenKWWwNw This was a little animation I made with Stephen Evans for Wiretap, the hilarious radio show on CBC radio. I am a huge fan of Wiretap, so this was a very exciting project to work on.

A puffin is an odd and dangerous creature. This little project was made with the cyber-mages over at Option-G and Calvin Florian. There was very little money, so Darren Pasemko and I had to get creative with our choices of what to animate, and what to leave the hell alone. This experiment in animation frugality led to some hilarious workarounds.
These animated sequences were made with the dangerous duo of Dale Hayward and Sylvie Trouve of La Moustache, now See Creatures. We created motion graphics nuggets that were integrated into this powerful documentary about the disastrous environmental impact of the Alberta oilsands. The documentary was directed by Shannon Walsh and produced by Loaded Pictures.
